Community Events for May

The weather here in Santa Cruz is warming up, and we have a lot of outdoor activities planned this month!
Below  is a list of fun, local and ASD-Friendly activities (and some online ones, too) that are happening in our community.

Roller Skating – with AFNCome out and skate around – or try to.
Make new friends, enjoy the music, and get some exercise. Cost: $10. Hosted by Shared Adventures

When: Sat, May 14, 11:30am – 1:30pm

Walk in the Redwoods Take a roll or stroll through the 1 mile redwood loop. Look at the amazing trees and learn a bit about them. Enjoy the fresh smells, sounds, and sights of nature Meet New Friends Time: 1:00 Meet in front of the Nature Center Parking cost $10 or get ADA pass ahead of time. This is a wheel chair friendly path. Hosted by Shared Adventures.

Where: Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park


Archery at DeLaVeagaThe 3rd Saturday of the Month -Santa Cruz Archers will host us at DeLaVeaga.
They will teach, instruct, and help you.  All abilities welcome, Hosted by Shared Adventures

When: Sat, May 21, 10am – 12pm

Where: DeLaveaga County Park Archery Range, 141 Brookwood Dr, Santa Cruz, CA 95065,


Bowling at Boardwalk Bowlhosted by Shared Adventures. We hope to play 2 games, and the price will cover shoes and lane rental. Please have socks and face coverings.

When: Mon, May 23, 3pm – 5pm ( we hope to do two games so arrive on time)

Wheel Chair b-ball timeCome be coached and enjoy a little wheel chair basketball. Demo’s and training for those who wish to try it. Hosted by Shared Adventures.

When: Sat, June 4, 12pm – 2pm

Where: 795 Vista Montana Dr, Watsonville, CA 95076, USA (Franklin Park in Watsonville)
