Student Referral

The Center is accepting students ages 14-22 with autism, multiple disabilities and moderate-severe intellectual disabilities.

Students are referred to Coryell Autism Center through the county offices of education, the special education local plan areas (SELPA) or the director of special education at the student's school district.

Students who are referred by a non-educational agency, or have a direct referral from a parent are asked to consult with the director of special education from the student's school district.

Once the referral is made, the staff will review the student's records, visit the student in his/her current placement and when appropriate, conduct a home visit. Additionally, the student, their family and/or teachers are invited to observe Coryell Autism Center.
